Clackamas County seeking citizens to serve on storm and
surface water quality committee in Lower Tualatin area
Water Environment Services (WES), a department of Clackamas County, on behalf of the Surface Water Management Agency of Clackamas County (SWMACC), is seeking five citizens to fill vacancies on its Lower Tualatin Citizen Advisory Committee.
The Committee advises the Clackamas County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) and WES staff on programs and standards that relate to surface water and storm water management within the SWMACC boundaries.
BCC-appointed committee members serve a term of two years, meeting a minimum of four times per year, typically on the third Thursday of every third month.
SWMACC provides surface water management services in the unincorporated areas of Clackamas County within the Tualatin River Watershed and the City of Rivergrove. Interested citizens and represented businesses, associations, non-profit groups and other organizations that reside within the District’s boundaries are encouraged to apply.
Interested individuals need
to complete an application form. Applications may be completed and submitted
