Clackamas County taking nominations for Citizen Awards
The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners is seeking nominations for the Darlene Hooley Citizen Award and the Dee Wescott Community Organization Award. The awards honor citizens who devote their time, energy and work to make positive contributions to their neighbors and community.
The awards were established in September 2009 to recognize former Congresswoman Darlene Hooley and the late Dee Wescott, former Damascus mayor, for their long commitment and connection to Clackamas County.
Closing date for nominations is Friday, March 19.
Award Criteria
Recipients will be chosen based on the following four criteria and their ability to:

The awards will be presented at a Board of County Commissioners business meeting during National Volunteer Appreciation Week in April as a way to show support to volunteers and recognize the difference they make in Clackamas County and in their communities.
