Ensure high quality of library services in Clackamas County by serving on Library Board
Clackamas County Commissioners are currently recruiting interested persons for two vacancies to serve a full term on the Library Board of Trustees. The jurisdiction of the County Library includes the Oak Grove/Jennings Lodge, Clackamas, and Happy Valley. Members of the Board serve in an advisory capacity to the Commissioners, help determine the policies that guide and direct the County Library and assure citizen involvement in the delivery of high quality library services.
The Board meets at 5:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month and individual members may serve on committees that meet at other times. The Library is seeking applicants who are willing to provide a leadership role in their communities to promote library services and activities. The terms will expire on July 1. Selected applicants must be available for a 15-minute individual interview on a Tuesday, at a regularly scheduled Library Board meeting,, after 5:30 p.m.
Interested individuals need to complete an application form.
