Suspect commits two armed robberies, hours apart; tips sought

On Sunday, Nov. 8 at 10:16 p.m. -- and again several hours later, on Monday, Nov. 9 at 2:56 a.m. -- an armed male subject committed robberies at two different 7-Eleven stores in Clackamas County.
The first armed robbery (CCSO Case # 09-34317) occurred at 10:16 p.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 6897 SE Thiessen Road in Milwaukie. On this occasion, the suspect entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect displayed a knife described as approximately 6 inches long and silver in color.
Hours later, this same suspect is believed to have committed an additional armed robbery (CCSO Case #09-34333) at 2:56 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on SE Lake Road. During this robbery, the suspect was armed with a handgun. This suspect -- believed to be the same individual who committed the earlier robbery with a knife -- entered the 7-Eleven, demanded money, and fled the store.
This suspect is described as follows:
- White male adult
- 25-27 years of age
- 5'05" tall
- 130 lbs.
- Thin build
The suspect's clothing is described as follows:
- Black jacket with white lining
- Gray hooded sweatshirt and white t-shirt worn under sweatshirt
- Blue jeans
- Tennis shoes
- The suspect pulled a "balaclava"-type mask over the lower portion of his face to conceal his facial features
- Black gloves, with white visible on the backside of the gloves
This suspect is believed to have been armed with a knife and handgun during these robbery events. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
