Stone Creek Golf Club will host an open house/grand opening for its brand new 2,700 sq ft. event center now open and available to the public for booking. The open house will take place Friday, Sept. 10, from noon to 5 p.m.

There will be live music, food sampling, beer and wine as well as event rental vendors, florists, bakeries and event planners. This event is open to the community and there is no entry fee.

Staff hopes to provide an eventful social gathering as well as networking opportunity for the vendors and community as well as generate new business for this new space. They will be raffling off free rounds of golf as well as a new Taylor Made Superfast Burner Driver.

With the addition of the new event center, Stone Creek offers a new, air-conditioned space for events with up to 160 guests year-’round. From personal to professional gatherings Stone Creek is the perfect place to host an event, large or small. They offer in-house catering as well as a preferred vendor list for event rentals.

“We believe our affordability, flexibility and outstanding customer service will set Stone Creek above the competition,” General Manager Doug Suse said.

Designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, Stone Creek opened for public play in 2002 and has been consistently rated one of the top ten public courses in Oregon. The course has matured into one of the most beautiful and diverse courses in the Portland area.  It is scenically designed and offers spectacular views of Mt. Hood.
