In February 2008, members of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Child Abuse Team (CAT) responded to an address in Happy Valley -- investigating reports of a 5-year-old child who was disclosing information pertaining to alleged sexual abuse.
The CAT investigation resulted in a criminal indictment and arrest warrant, issued on May 15, for the arrest of Douglas Alfred Feller, 47, of Happy Valley.
Investigators report that Douglas Alfred Feller was a long-time friend of the victim's family -- and was well-acquainted with the 5-year-old reported victim in this case.
Early this morning (May 22, 2008) Douglas Alfred Feller voluntarily surrendered himself to Clackamas County Sheriff's Office authorities at the Clackamas County Jail. Feller has been lodged in Clackamas County Jail on the following charges:
- Three (3) counts of Sodomy 1
- One (1) count of Sexual Penetration 1
- Seven (7) counts of Sexual Abuse 1
Total Bail is $250,000.
A video arraignment on this matter is scheduled for 3 p.m. this afternoon (May 22, 2008) in the Clackamas County Circuit Court in Oregon City.
