McLoughlin Planning Committee to meet Sept. 7
The third meeting of the McLoughlin Area Planning (MAP) Phase 2 Committee, a citizen advisory group working with Clackamas County, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Rose Villa, 13505 SE River Rd in Oak Grove. The public is welcome to attend.
The MAP Committee meets regularly with Clackamas County staff and other members of the MAP project team to provide direction on enhancing and revitalizing the McLoughlin Boulevard area in unincorporated Clackamas County. The Phase 1 MAP Committee worked with the community to create a vision statement, values and guiding principles.
The Sept. 7 MAP Committee meeting will focus on the scope of work for phase 2 of the process, which will focus on identifying specific projects and programs the community would like and how they might be funded.
The McLoughlin area is defined as the unincorporated portions of Clackamas County bounded by the Willamette River on the west, Webster Road to the east, the City of Milwaukie to the north and the City of Gladstone to the south.
More information about the MAP committee and the project is available at www.mcloughlinareaplan.org.
