Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigates McLoughlin Boulevard stabbing

MILWAUKIE -- At 7:54 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Patrol deputies responded to reports of a stabbing at the Taco Bell at 16300 SE McLoughlin Boulevard.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies learned that a 34-year-old man had confronted a number of teenage subjects at the property. For as-yet-unidentified reasons, at least two of the young males produced knives following some pushing.

One of the young males reportedly stabbed the 34-year-old man in the neck. The knife wound is reportedly non-life-threatening, and te 34-year-old victim was conscious and breathing as he was transported to Providence Milwaukie Hospital.

Several cooperative witnesses on-scene provided deputies with fruitful leads; investigators are following up on this promising suspect information.
