Press release from: Clackamas County Sheriff's Office
CLARIFICATION AND APOLOGY
Due to an investigative error involving misread time-codes on an ATM surveillance camera, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office mistakenly circulated a surveillance photo of Jamie Suskanen of Donald, Oregon as a person of interest in a recent theft case. Her photo was mistakenly circulated in a law-enforcement bulletin and featured in a KPTV Fox12 news report.
Jamie Suskanen is NOT a person of interest in this case, and her photo image was publicly circulated in error.
At the onset of this criminal investigation, time-codes of financial transactions were misread -- and the Sheriff's Office has since identified and publicized photos of new persons of interest in the case.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office publicly and sincerely apologizes to Jamie Suskanen for the misunderstanding and any inconvenience it caused her, and regrets this unfortunate error.
