Sheriff's Office locates two after kayaking mishap

Around 11 a.m. on June 8, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit personnel responded to a reported kayaking mishap in the Dodge Park area, near Camp Namanu and Campfire Ranch.

One missing female kayaker was located safe approximately one-half mile down river from Dodge Park, on the Roslyn Lake side of the river.

At this writing, the second female remains stranded -- out of the water, just below the pipeline. Personnel are working to rescue the second female.
