Just before 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, a home at 14200 SE Holly View Lane in Damascus, Oregon was robbed by three unidentified suspects. The suspects tied up the three adult residents and ransacked the home. The suspects left the scene after one of the residents called 911.

At 5:31 a.m., Clackamas County Communications (C-COM) received an incomplete 911 call from 14200 SE Holly View Lane. The dispatcher could only hear muffled sounds and crying. Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to the scene.

When deputies arrived a short time later, they discovered the home had just been robbed and the three suspects had fled the area.

The victims told investigators an unidentified female had come to the door asking for help with her vehicle. When the male resident, age 70, answered the door, a second unidentified subject, male, pushed through the door and struck the male resident with a crowbar.

A third unidentified suspect came into the home making three suspects total -- two male and one female. The suspects covered their faces to hide their identities.

The suspects bound the 70-year-old male and his 60-year-old wife and began to ransack the house. During the robbery, their 31-year-old son returned home from a paper route and was also tied up by the suspects.

The suspects were in the home for about ten minutes when the 60-year-old wife was able to free herself enough to dial 911. When the suspects realized the 911 call had been made, they fled the scene before police arrived.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputies arrived and began an investigation.

The 70-year-old male was taken to Mount Hood Medical Center for injuries suffered in the robbery.

Investigators are still at the scene collecting evidence and statements. It is undetermined at this time what, if anything, was taken. Investigators do not know the identity of the suspects.

It is believed this was not a random crime, and that the suspects targeted this specific home and its residents. The reason is unclear at this time.
