Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, LifeFlight respond to auto/pedestrian accident

MOLALLA -- On Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008 at 3:30 p.m., The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicular accident involving an elderly female driver and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was reportedly struck and injured, and is described as conscious and breathing.

The pedestrian is being airlifted from a landing zone established at Molalla High School, and will be taken to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland.

The accident scene is located at the rural address of 36481 S. Wilhoit Road in Molalla.

The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.
