Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigates two-vehicle crash on S. Mulino Road in Canby

At 9:02 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Patrol Deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision that occurred 10426 S. Mulino Rd. in Canby.
One crash victim was airlifted to Emanuel Hospital; another was transported from the scene by Canby Fire rescue personnel.
Deputies report that a 2002 Dodge Dakota was entering onto S. Mulino, while exiting the driveway at 10426 S. Mulino Rd. in Canby.
The driver and sole occupant of this vehicle is identified as Joy Mittlestadt (born January 1929); she resides at the residence located at this address.
Mittlestadt was airlifted from the scene and transported to Emanuel Hospital in Portland. Preliminary information from the scene indicates that she does not appear to have suffered life-threatening injuries; however, considering her age, emergency workers decided to transport her to the hospital.
The second involved vehicle is described to have been traveling eastbound on S. Mulino Road when the crash occurred. This eastbound vehicle is described as a 1997 Ford Expedition.
The driver and sole occupant of this vehicle is identified as Canby resident Vanessa Wiseman (born August 1967). Wiseman had apparent non life-threatening injuries, and was transported from the scene to a local hospital by Canby Fire personnel.
This accident remains under investigation, and no citations have been issued at this time.
The photos linked above were taken at the scene by investigating deputies, while Canby Fire personnel were on-scene attending to the crash victims.
