CCITF arrests fugitive Brett Bogart in Portland

On Friday, Jan. 08, 2010 at 5 p.m., members of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Inter-agency Task Force (CCITF), with the generous help of the Portland Police Bureau, surrounded a residence on SE Brooklyn Street in Portland and negotiated the peaceful surrender of fugitive Brett Bogart, age 28.


EARLIER: CCITF seeks fugitive who assaulted two officers, fled scene


Bogart has been taken into custody peacefully and is presently being interviewed by CCITF members.

It is anticipated Bogart will soon be transported and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on the following charges:


Bogart is expected to be arraigned on these matters in Clackamas County Circuit Court on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010 at 3 p.m.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is grateful to the courageous members of the Oregon State Police and the Portland Police Bureau for their relentless dedication and participation while attempting to apprehend this elusive fugitive.

Residents in the Redland area can rest peacefully knowing this person has been successfully apprehended and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail fewer than 24 hours after the Bogart's alleged incident with law-enforcement personnel in Gladstone on McLoughlin Boulevard.
