On Saturday, Sept. 27th, 2008 at 1:30 p.m., 24-year-old Raymond Gregaskis reported that he was assaulted by four adults -- suspected transients -- who were attempting to obtain his money and wallet.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Patrol deputies arrived in the area and began to scour this locale for the suspected transients described by Gregaskis. Deputies were able to locate, identify and arrest three of the four suspects in the area of the robbery, which is considered Robbery in the Second Degree. The crime occurred in the vicinity of 8120 SE Luther Road in Portland.

Gregaskis reported that he resides in the area. He says he witnessed one of the transient females in the group lifting her shirt, deliberately exposing her breasts. Gregaskis reportedly told the female to cover herself, because he has children playing on his property and was concerned about the lewd conduct. Gergaskis said that was when two of the females grabbed him by the arms while two accompanying male suspects said, "He's got money -- let's get him!"

Gregaskis was not injured during this encounter, and was able to thwart the transients from taking his money and wallet.

Responding Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputies apprehended three of the described suspects, and lodged them in Clackamas County Jail on charges of Robbery in the Second Degree.
