Clackamas County Government Channel won 17 awards for programming excellence from national organizations in 2011 continuing a tradition of excellence that has produced 194 awards since the channel was launched in April 1996.
The honors include three first place, four second place, two third place awards and an honorable mention from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) in September. The channel also won an Award of Excellence, an Award of Distinction and two Honorable Mentions from the Videographer Awards held in June.
The channel won three Awards of Excellence from the Best of the Northwest Awards in April. All of the competitions are highly competitive and draw entrants from around the United States and sometimes internationally.
