Clackamas County Sheriff's Office seeks residential-robbery suspects: Mike, Miguel, Joe and getaway driver 'Christina'

Posted: June 3rd, 2008, 12:54 p.m.

At approximately 2 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, Colton resident Victor Ryan Proffitt, 23, was robbed at gunpoint when three masked male suspects forced their way into his residence and demanded money from Proffitt at gunpoint.

Victor Proffitt told deputies that he recently received a modest cash disability payment as a result of a civil settlement. The armed intruders reportedly knew this confidential information -- demanding of Proffitt, "Where is the settlement money? Where is the settlement money?" during the robbery.

The masked suspects reportedly remained in Proffitt's residence -- where he was alone -- for an estimated 30 minutes. Proffitt was held at gunpoint while they ransacked his residence and vehicle for items of value. Proffitt reports that they referred to each other by their first names (Mike, Joe and Miguel) as the activity in the residence became more and more frenzied.

At one point, the frantic robbers reportedly received a cellular-phone call from the apparent getaway driver, and one of the suspects said, "Christina called! Christina called!" A full-sized pickup truck arrived in the area following this announcement.

Victor Proffitt describes the suspects and suspect vehicle as follows:

1. "Mike"

2. "Joe"

3. "Miguel"

At least two of these armed suspects were described to have been wearing a pair of "FF" shoes popular with members of the skateboarding community. The "FF" brand is quite trendy with skateboarders, and the logo "FF" is prominently featured on this brand of shoe.

The suspects fled the residence in the suspect vehicle -- presumed to be operated by a driver referred to by the suspects as "Christina." This getaway vehicle is described as a large, dark-colored, full-size pickup truck that may have a canopy affixed.

The suspect vehicle was last observed traveling southbound on S. Hwy 211, near the S. Elwood Road intersection.

Stolen from the residence during this robbery event were the following items:
