On Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at approximately 2:45 p.m., an 18-year-old female called her mother. The 18-year-old was reportedly crying hysterically while parked alongside the roadway, declaring that she'd been invited by the proprietor of a nearby gym to visit his facility on Jannsen Road, in Clackamas -- where she reported being sexually abused by this proprietor.
A Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Patrol Deputy responded, locating the 18-year-old female situated in her automobile at an intersection in the Clackamas area. The deputy reports that the young woman had been crying excessively -- with cosmetics running down her face and collecting around her neck. She was reportedly emotionally distraught.
This young woman told the deputy she met a customer at the coffee shop where she works about two weeks prior. She described how this man, estimated to be in his 30s, invited her for a "free session" at the gym he owned in Clackamas.
This place of business is identified as Real Fitness, located at 9063 SE Jannsen Rd. in Clackamas. The proprietor of Real Fitness -- and suspect in this reported incident -- is identified as Bryce Darrel Jackson, age 38, with a residential address on SE Laurel in Milwaukie.
This young woman told the deputy she arrived for this "free session" at Real Fitness, where Jackson invited her inside the facility -- locking the door behind her. They were the only two persons present in the facility. Jackson then reportedly directed her to do some exercises and photographed her in front of a chart.
The young woman reported that Bryce Jackson then began to massage this woman as she was performing stretching exercises. This ultimately advanced to a reported sexual-abuse incident.
The woman soon departed the premises -- calling her mother hysterically from the roadside a short distance from the Jannsen Road location.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., investigating deputies went to Real Fitness and interviewed Bryce Jackson. Pursuant to this investigation, Mr. Jackson was arrested at his place of business, transported to Clackamas County Jail and lodged on the related charge of Sex Abuse in the Second Degree.
On Nov. 17 at 8:11 p.m., Bryce Jackson posted bond and was released from custody. Jackson is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on this matter on Nov. 24, 2009 at 3 p.m. This matter will be heard in Clackamas County Circuit Court in Oregon City.
